Terms of Service
Effective date: August 12, 2026|Version: 1.1
These terms govern your use of gengrowth.ai, app.gengrowth.ai, and the free tools published on them ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.
1. What the Service is
GenGrowth is a diagnostic workbench for search and generative-engine visibility. It reads public pages and, where you connect it, your own Google Search Console data, and reports findings and suggested actions.
It is an analysis tool. It does not publish to, modify, or otherwise write to your website, your CMS, or your Search Console property.
2. Accounts
You may create an account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.
The SEO Agent and Tech Agent require a verified account before a website URL is accepted for audit. This account gate does not grant us Gmail mailbox, Search Console, or site-ownership access.
We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.
3. Free tools and fair use
The SEO Agent and Tech Agent are offered without charge but require a verified account. Calculators that do not run a website crawl may remain available without an account. Website Agent runs use public static HTML only and do not require Search Console access or site-ownership verification. They run against a shared crawl budget, so they are rate limited per visitor and per target site, and each run is bounded in the number of pages and the time it may take. A marketing-site Agent run is not saved to an app project.
You agree not to:
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent the rate limits;
- submit addresses you do not own or have no legitimate interest in auditing, where doing so would burden the target site;
- use the tools to attack, overload, or map the security surface of any site;
- resell, redistribute, or present the output as an independent audit product.
We may withdraw, change, or limit any free tool at any time.
4. Your data and your permissions
You keep ownership of your content and your Search Console data. You grant us only the permission needed to run the analysis you asked for — a read-only Search Console scope, which you can revoke at any time.
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Accuracy, and what a finding is not
The Service reports observations and inferences drawn from public responses and from provider data. Search engines and generative engines do not publish their ranking logic, and third-party metrics are estimates.
Accordingly:
- a finding is evidence for a decision, not a guarantee of a ranking outcome;
- we do not warrant that acting on a finding will improve traffic, rankings, or visibility;
- you remain responsible for reviewing any suggested change before you apply it to a live site.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we may perform maintenance without notice.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its interface, and its documentation are ours. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. They transfer no ownership.
Reports and exports generated for you are yours to use.
8. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including Google (sign-in and Search Console) and our infrastructure providers. Their terms govern their own services, and an interruption at a provider may interrupt ours.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Changes to these terms
We will update the version and effective date at the top of this page when these terms change. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
